Hey everyone...so I'm pretty obsessed with my top note die cut from SU! right now and can't stop using it! It's the first thing I'm drawn to when I sit down at my craft desk. I made a couple of projects this week and both feature it:) My sister-in-law + family moved to Vernon last weekend and I wanted to give them a little something to welcome them to Vernon. I made them some lemon yogurt muffins (stole the recipe from my mom). I made a dozen...but only 6 made it to them:) funny how that happens....
I thought it was fun that I had this lemon/lime pp left over from another project for the lemon muffins.
I also made a card for 2sketches4u's challenge this week. It's a pretty simple card, but I like it. I stole the idea to combine the "cherish" sentiment with the cherry image from
my sister Terri and I stole the idea to put buttons on the cherry image from Jennifer Holmes. You can check out her blog on my list to the right (Simple Flourishes). I used my scallop square punch from SU and the cherish sentiment is from SU!'s Warm Words stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder...I'll have to remember to grab a swiffer sheet for my craft room for next time (too much static!!)
TFL! let me know what you think
