Mojo 123

Round card?! That's something I've never done before but I was feeling up for the challenge:) I'm not sure what supplies people normally use to make their round cards, so I had to improvise. My mom was getting rid of some of her old baking stuff not too long ago and she asked me if I wanted these cookie cutters. Now, I'm mostly a chocolate chip cookie girl myself, so I don't normally use cutters but I thought hey why not? When I got them home to put in my kitchen drawer....I thought of a better use for them and they went up into my craft room instead:) Now I can finally make some scallop circles! Anyways, I used the largest one to trace out the base for my card. I forgot to take a picture of the inside to show how I attached the two circles, but I'm sure there are more sophisticated ways out there in the blogosphere....

This is the card that I came up with. Je'taime! I think it just so sweet and cute and it's the perfect card for my niece's 1st birthday this weekend. When I saw the buttons in the right hand corner of the sketch I knew I wanted to break in my new sizzlit die that I got from Christmas. I love this die because you can create "buttons" of any colour or pp that you want:) And it worked perfectly to turn this hippo's single balloon into a threesome:) This card is a lot smaller than I envisioned, but I think that's partly why I love it.

Supplies:
-melon mambo, rich razzleberry, whisper white, regal rose, razzleberry lemonade dsp
-watercolour paper, blender pen
-melon mambo, regal rose, rich razzleberry, and staz-on black ink
-buttons sizzlit die from SU!
-Pun Fun stamp set from SU!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your card is adorable. How creative are you, using cookie cutter for your scallop edge. I love it. It looks like your were in my neck of the woods not long ago, Ive lived in Vegas for over
35 years. I'm glad to see you had fun!!
